Kukula Villa, Sri Lanka

Large villa in a village near town Ambalangoda.
Ambalangoda is famous for making theatrical masks and lies on the northwest coast. Every Wednesday there is a fresh fruit and vegetable market, but it's not problem to buy fresh fruits anytime. 15 minutes by motorbike or tuktuk there is another famous tourist town Hikkaduwa with beautiful turtle beach with many restaurants and tourist shops.
Our villa is named "Kukula Villa" (Wali Kukula is Sri Lanka's national animal), and you even can find this bird in the morning roaming around our garden. Villa has two floors, on the ground floor there is a very spacious living room with sofa and also two working places, also you will see artificial pond with live fishs and small waterfall between the living room and the dining room. In the kitchen is gas stove, fridge and washing machine, also one bathroom and two smaller bedrooms, from kitchen and one bedroom you can step out to veranda with a roof and a place to sit and a view of the pool. There is an open studio on the first floor, master bedroom with private bathroom and also two bedrooms and separate guest bathroom. There is also a balcony around the entire floor with the view of the pool.
There are 70 coconut trees in the garden (so watch out for falling coconuts :-)), banana plants, mango, jackfruits trees and many others. There is even our private cinnamon plantation at the end of the garden. Behind the pool is a cashew tree, which is a favorite place for our peacocks - usually we have always at least four around. It is no exception when wild monkeys jump from tree to tree in the garden. So you can experience the real Sri Lanka with everything from the comfort of a well-equipped villa

Our villa and garden provide enough privacy, however, taking photos of nudes in public is not possible. In some cities, women are even forbidden to walk down the street in only bathing suits. Since we want to live in Sri Lanka for a long time, please follow these rules, you may not plan to return there a second time, but we do. Thank you in advance.
